Q. Is Nephrolink compatible with Windows Mobile 5.0?
A. Yes, Nephrolink is compatible with Windows Mobile 5.0, however it is highly recommended to use a Windows Mobile 6.0 device due to the additional memory and overall better performance on Windows Mobile 6.0 devices.
Q. Do I have to have a cell signal in order to collect data?
A. No, Nephrolink is able to collect data without internet access.
Q. Does my data synchronize when I use ActiveSync?
A. No, you must click the Sync/Submit button within Nephrolink in order to submit your data to the server?
Q. How long does it take before my data sent during a synchronization is available on the web?
A. Immediately, as soon as the synchronization on the PDA is finished, the data is available immediately on the web.
Q. How do I upgrade to the latest version?
A. The easiest way to update the application is by clicking the Update button on the main menu within Nephrolink. Some updates to application may require a full installation. You may re-download the application and re-install. Be sure that you have synced your data first in order to prevent data loss.
Q. How does the wireless sync work?
A. The wireless sync is able to use whatever data services are available on your phone to transmit your data to the central server housed in a data center. You phone may use, Cellular, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.
Q. Is my data encrypted and secure?
A. Yes, all data encryption meets and exceeds all HIPAA standards.
Q. Can I share my patients with other doctors so they can cover my shift?
A. Yes, you can share your data with up to three other doctors simultaneously.
